Explanation

The betting-crazy Britons could bet on anything ahead of Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding. The odds for "You're Beautiful" as opening dance were 1/5. If you went for the less conservative option "Sex on Fire", the bookies gave you your money back 50-fold, should you win. The singer-songwriter, Ellie Goulding performed at the event, singing her rendition of "Your Song" by Sir Elton John for the couple's first dance.
